About Me
Since 2009 I’ve had the privilege of serving in ministry at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, journeying alongside students and faculty as we explore faith, culture, and belonging. Over these 16 years I’ve witnessed transformation on campus—from curiosity about Jesus to deep, resilient community.
My journey began with a deep love for both faith and learning, which led me to earn a B.S. in Physics from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. While the sciences taught me to appreciate the intricacies of creation, it was in ministry that I discovered my calling to serve, shepherd, and advocate for those navigating the complexities of faith and identity.
I pursued an M.A. in Church History from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary to deepen my understanding of the Church’s legacy and its impact on culture and community. This academic foundation has shaped my approach to ministry—one that honors tradition while remaining sensitive to the evolving needs of today’s believers.
My primary work is now with Epic Movement, a ministry of Cru Central Coast focused on reaching and developing Asian American students and leaders. Through Epic, I’ve been able to engage in discipleship, leadership development, and community building, helping others embrace deep faith in Christ while reaching the entire Cal Poly community.
A significant part of my heart is for those who have experienced church hurt—those who feel unseen, unheard, or disillusioned by their faith communities. I believe healing begins with honest conversations, compassionate presence, and a commitment to restoring trust. My ministry is rooted in creating safe spaces where people can wrestle with doubt, rediscover hope, and encounter the grace of God in authentic ways.
Whether through teaching, mentoring, or simply listening, my desire is to walk with others toward wholeness. Ministry isn’t just a vocation for me—it’s a lifelong journey of learning, loving, and leading with humility and purpose.
